Entry Requirements

  • 1. The determination of students for FODE program is by Entry Test. There are two tests – English and Mathematics. Students who have completed grades 12 may take the Matriculation (MSP) Entry Test. The entry tests measure the English and Mathematical ability level for FODE study programs. Students are placed on grades and subjects according to their scores.

  • 2. Pre-Enrolment Test (PET) is K50 per student and it is administered to every new student that enters FODE study programmes. It is administered by the 22 Provincial Centres and the many Study Centres.

How to enroll?

Each student is encouraged to discuss the enrolment requirements with their centre staff at their respective provinces and their corresponding help desks at the FODE Head Office.

How to request exams?

Here is an official circular: EX10 which your centre will fill out on your behalf following your request. You must inform the centre with the help of your subject teacher that you are ready for the exams of that subject and grades. The form is also available for you to download with the assistance of your corresponding Help Desk and Centre staff.

How to request assignments?

Assignments are just as important as open and close tests, and examinations. Students must do to the best of their knowledge and ability.

Student Study Materials

Students must treasure strands or units materials as they are their teachers by open and distance learning. Lessons are clearly planned out in teaching mode and are intended to be student-friendly.

Text & Reference Books

Subject teachers have already provided support reading and, text and reference books for students in the strands and units. However, this section is provided for additional support references and texts.

General Study Guide

General study guides are already provided by subject teachers, inclusive to strands and units. However, there may be need to do updates and improvements from time to time.

Guidance & School Counseling

Students are encouraged to keep checking with their respective provincial and, study and district centres for guidance, counseling and careers information.
